It is a story often heard from Filipinos working abroad—that of achieving financial success relatively early and easily, and yet not being able to enjoy the long-term benefits of financial freedom when they come back home to the Philippines.

"It is not a fate that overseas Filipinos need to contend with. They can definitely shape their destiny and do something positive about their financial future," says Anna Tatlonghari, general manager of Ayala Land International Sales Inc. (ALISI).

Project Love Sneaker is a shoe-donation drive organised by Running Lab to serve the running community’s desire to recycle their “retired” running shoes that are still in good condition.
Started  in  2010,  this  shoe-donation  drive  is  now  in  its  5th year running and will be held from 1 to 30 April at all Running Lab stores.
Project Love Sneakers has increasingly gained traction and interest not only within the running communities but the general public over the years.

 Philippines has a temperature of 33 degree Celsius as checked by the weather forecast, the onset of El Niño, causing reduced rainfall and higher temperatures in some parts of the country. Because of El Niño, rice fields in North Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines have dried. Farmers waste thousands of these. Therefore concluded, that the reason for dehydration is El Niño.

Just recently, a 28-year old Filipino nurse in Singapore was charged with sedition and false information to police after insulting Singaporeans via Facebook. Ello Ed Mundsel Bello was fired from his job at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital, a government institute hospital, because of the offensive social media posts which he defended that his Facebook account was hacked.

April 9, 1942, when the brave Filipino and American soldiers were forced by Japanese captors to march from Bataan to San Fernando, Pampanga; when the Filipino-American soldiers were exhausted prisoners of war; and when this day was named as the Fall of Bataan. The Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan) commemorates the Bataan Death March where some Filipinos died for the country. This day is also considered as a public holiday in the Philippines to reflect and give sympathy for the heroes of our nation.
