Q: How do you conceal dark circles and lines under the eyes?

A: Dark circles are not that difficult to hide as long as you pick the right concealer for you.. Choose a concealer that is closest to your skin tone. Yellow-based concealers are really good for covering those under eye circles.


Apply some (but not too much as it will appear cakey) under the eyes. Using the ring finger, blend it gently. Try not to pull the skin because it can cause wrinkles.


As for fine lines, women who are no longer 16 have the same problem. So what I do is, I use anti-aging eye cream daily to minimize the appearance of lines. We're never too young to use one. Also, it is the best option there is if you want something non-invasive. Good eye creams make the skin around the eyes firm, thus reducing the visibility of lines. Apply it before the concealer.




If you want to cover dark under eye circles and fine lines at the same time, I suggest you do the following:

1. Take an ice cube, apply it directly under the eyes for a minute. Follow it with anti-aging eye cream.

2. Dab yellow-based concealer and blend.

3. Dust illuminating powder under the eyes.
(IMPORTANT NOTE:Shimmery and Illuminating are different! Shimmery has glitter/sparkle which gives your skin a dramatic almost metallic glow---this is a NO-NO, as it emphasizes wrinkles more. Illuminating, on the other hand, is matte but not flat. It has light reflecting pigments that gives a natural radiant look. This is good for covering those unwanted lines.)


If you want to cover the fine lines alone:

1. Follow step one above.

2. Apply illuminating concealer under the eyes.
